Vivian Zhang
MSW, RSW
Vivian Zhang is a Toronto-based clinical therapist who focuses on: supporting those to meet their full potential and embracing the ways we connect with others. Vivian supports those who are feeling stuck with where they are at in life, undergoing changes in their life (such as new relationships, job loss or a new career, grief, questions about who you are), and/or wanting to build more meaningful relationships.
Vivian has a particular interest in DBT. Growing up as a sensitive person; highly attuned to criticisms, and trying to "appear strong" in the world, Vivian found DBT helped her fill in the blanks to why she feels the way she does, learn about her emotions, develop strategies to sit through the waves of emotions that come, find the words to communicate her authenticity to others, and gave her space so that she could embrace herself. Vivian wants to share these aspects with you during the DBT groups.
